Day-1: Arrive at Guwahati
Evening Boat ride in Brahmaputra River. Arrive at Guwahati. Guwahati is largest city of Assam and access point for Wildlife Destinations, Plantation areas, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh.Visit to Kamakhya Temple (Shaktipeetha) and undertake Brahmaputra Boat Cruise in the evening.
Day-2: Travel to Bhalukpong
Visit Tipi Orchid Centre. Proceed to Bhalukpong (2000 ft asl, 215 kms - 5 hrs). Bhalukpung lies on the border of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, it is a place of enthralling scenic beauty. The sparkling river Jia Bhorali which passes through Bhalukpung is a nature and adventure lover's paradise. Bhalukpong is also a transit stay enroute Tawang. Visit Tipi Orchard Centre (5 kms).
Day-3: Proceed to Dirang
Proceed to Dirang (5000 ft asl - 180 kms - 8 hrs). Dirang is a riverside town and a transit point for travelling to Tawang. Dirang is blessed with exceptional Himalayan beauty. Time permitting guests can undertake walks around the area.
Day-4: Proceed to Tawang
Proceed to Tawang (145 kms - 7 hours) via Sella Pass at 13,700 ft. The route is blessed with exceptional Himalayan beauty and drive is nothing short of an experience. Tawang (10000 ft asl) is the largest Monastery in India and is one of the oldest. The monastery belongs to the Gelugpa school and has a religious association with Drepung Monastery in Lhasa.
Day-5: Spend a day at Tawang
Spend a day at Tawang. Visit Tawang Monastery complex and spend time to experience spirituality of the area. Guests can look to undertake short walks around the area, visit market and nearby lakes.
Day-6: Tawang - Bomdila
Proceed for Bomdila (8000 ft asl - 185 kms - 7 hrs). Bomdila is a beautiful small town from where one can see the brilliant landscape and snow-clad mountains of the Himalayan Range.
Day-7: Proceed to Kaziranga
Proceed to Kaziranga (245 kms - 8 hrs). Kaziranga is is a renowned Wildlife Destination and is visited for the Wildlife and Bird watching Experience it offers. One can spot one-horned Rhinos and wide ranging migratory Birds (Tiger population is healthy but not sighted as easily as other parks in Central India).
Day-8: Morning Elephant Safari and Evening Jeep Safari in Kaziranga
Early morning elephant safari andpost lunch can visit to handloom center, craft village. Evening Jeep safari in Kaziranga.
Day-9: Departure
Depart to Guwahati (225 kms - 4.5 hours) for onward journey.
