Khajuraho:
Madhya Pradesh is popular for the Temples of Khajuraho. The
chiseled external and internal walls with exquisite carvings
dramatically portray every mood of life. Every year in the month
of February and March Dance Festival is held at Khajuraho, which
brings back every element of this place to life.
Orchha:
The grandeur of Orcha can be seen in the exquisite Jehangir
Mahal’s interior and exterior which are living examples
of Bundela School Of Painting. Place to be visited in Orcha
are Chaturbhuj Temple, Laxminarayan Temple, Phool Bagh and many

Gwalior:
This city still carries the tradition of Hindustani Classical
Music from ancient times, which is still celebrated at Tansen
Tomb as the annual music festival. Massive Gwalior Fort, Hind
mausoleum of Sufi saint Ghous Mohammed and tomb of Mian Tansen,
are two magnificent examples of early Mughal architecture.
Sanchi:
Sanchi is renounced for its oldest stupas, which were made
by the Emperor Ashoka. This place carries some of the finest
chaitayas and monasteries. Visit the historical Ashoka Pillar,
the Gupta temple built in 4th century and the Great Bowl carved
out of one piece of stone.
Bhopal:
The capital city of Madhya Pradesh lies on the soft hills
around two pretty lakes. This city encompasses monuments and
contemporary buildings along with natural beauty. Bhopal is
famous for the biggest Mosque of country Jama Masjid and Moti
Masjid.
Indore:
In the city of Indore, you can see an interesting blend of
industry and architecture. The Lal Bagh Palace, to a large
extent is an attempted replica of the Buckingham palace. The
Kanch Mandir (Glass Temple) is a wonder in glass. Mahatma
Gandhi Hall, Central Museum and Chattri Bagh memorial are
a must visit.
Panchmarhi:
This is a charming hill station, about 190 kms away from Bhopal.
You can easily escape in nature at Panchmarhi’s flowing
waterfalls and deepwater pools. Two red sandstone mountains
have enhanced the beauty of the area. The sight here includes
more than fifty viewpoints.
Jabalpur:
This attractive town has the chief access points to Kanha
Tiger Reserve, Pench Tiger Reserve, Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
and Pachmarhi Hill Resort- the Queen of Satpuras. Madan Mahal
Fort gives a panoramic sight of the town and the countryside
around it.
